Imad Skakiyya is a full-time Lecturer in the Department of English at the Faculty of Arts, Bethlehem University, where he has served since fall 2006. He concurrently holds the position of coordinator for the university's Intensive English Program since 2010.
His academic credentials include:
- Bachelor's degree in English language and literature with diploma in Education from Bethlehem University (1986)
- M.Sc. in Applied Linguistics/Teaching English for Specific Purposes (TESP) from the University of Aston, Birmingham, UK (1992)
Skakiyya's scholarly focus centers on language pedagogy and linguistic theory. His expertise spans Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP), Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Discourse Analysis, Contrastive Linguistics, and Error Analysis.
