Ilze Maldupa is an Assistant Professor and Leading Researcher at the Department of Dental Therapy and Oral Health, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), Latvia. She holds a dental degree (2007) and a PhD (2013) from RSU, and a part-time appointment as a guest lecturer at the University of Southern Chile and University of Valparaiso. Her research focuses on pediatric dentistry, cariology, public health, and evidence-based practices, emphasizing minimally invasive treatments for early childhood caries and sustainable healthcare systems.
