Ilona F. Persoon

Dr. Ilona F. Persoon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Dentistry at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). She holds a PhD in Dentistry (2016) from the University of Amsterdam and a Senior Teaching Qualification (SKO) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2023). Her research focuses on infection control, sustainable oral healthcare, and endodontic infections. She also practices dentistry in Loosdrecht.
