Ilkka Lindstedt is a Senior University Lecturer in Islamic Theology at the Faculty of Theology, University of Helsinki. Holding a PhD and title of docent in Arabic and Islamic Studies, his research focuses on early Islam, Arabic historiography, and epigraphy.
