Ilia Parshakov

Dr. Ilia Parshakov is a Robert Gilbert Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s University. He holds a PhD in Earth, Space, and Physical Science, and prior degrees from the University of Lethbridge. His research focuses on remote sensing applications for forest disturbance monitoring, developing techniques like UC-Change to analyze satellite data for sustainable forestry planning.
