Dr. Ilaria Castellano is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematical Institute of Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf, specializing in the algebra and number theory group. In October 2023, she will transition to Politecnico di Torino as an RTD(a) (Researcher). She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Bari (2015), supervised by Thomas Weigel of the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research focuses on algebraic structures, including group cohomology, entropy in topological groups, and related areas.
