Ilan S. Wittstein

Ilan S. Wittstein, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, holding dual leadership roles as Director of the Advanced Heart Failure training program and Director of Johns Hopkins Cardiology International.

His pioneering research investigates the physiological nexus between acute emotional/physical stressors and myocardial function, with seminal contributions to understanding stress-induced cardiac injury.
