Igor Nikolić is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, specializing in Solfeggio pedagogy and music education methodologies. He holds an MA in Methodology of Music Teaching (2008) from the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje and a Bachelor's degree in Solfeggio Teaching Methods (2005) from the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
His research focuses on innovative teaching strategies in music education, particularly in integrating technology, mother tongue applications, and creative methodologies. Notable areas include the use of computer technology in Solfeggio instruction, the role of artistic literature in teaching, and the perceptual elements of tonality and timbre in music pedagogy.
He has contributed to multiple scientific forums and journals, including works on musical ear tests, the application of Michele Valentin’s hearing tests, and the methodological frameworks for nurturing musical potential. His publications emphasize practical pedagogical tools and cross-disciplinary approaches.
