معرفی
Igor Krasovsky is a Professor of Pure Mathematics at Imperial College London's Department of Mathematics within the Faculty of Natural Sciences. His research focuses on asymptotic analysis of orthogonal polynomials, determinants, and multiple integrals in random matrix theory and integrable models, alongside spectral properties of quasiperiodic Schrödinger operators. He has been affiliated with the CNRS-Imperial Abraham de Moivre UMI and contributes to the Pure Analysis and PDEs research group.
- Teaching: Measure and Integration, Distribution Theory, Metric Spaces and Topology, Probability, Random Matrices, Fourier Analysis and Distributions.
- Affiliations: Mathematics research staff, Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Numerical Mathematics groups.
His work bridges pure mathematics and theoretical physics, particularly in analyzing complex systems through advanced analytical techniques. Recent research emphasizes Toeplitz determinants, quasiperiodic operators like the almost Mathieu operator, and their spectral behaviors.
Publications span topics such as determinant asymptotics in random matrix ensembles and spectral gap properties of quasiperiodic systems, reflecting interdisciplinary connections between analysis, probability, and mathematical physics.
