Igor Ivanovych Zinenko

Igor Ivanovych Zinenko serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic", specifically within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. With over three decades of academic service since 1991, he has established himself as a dedicated educator and researcher in electromagnetic theory and waveguide technology.

Dr. Zinenko graduated from Zaporizhia Machine-Building Institute in 1990 with a specialization in radio engineering, earning his qualification as a specialist (radio engineer). His educational background laid the foundation for his extensive research career focused on electromagnetic phenomena.

Zinenko's research interests center on radiophysics with particular emphasis on waveguide technology, electromagnetic analysis of complex structures, and fractal applications in microwave engineering. His work demonstrates sophisticated mathematical approaches to solving challenging electromagnetic problems, particularly those involving waveguide junctions, horn antennas, and fractal structures. He has developed specialized methods including the domain product method for analyzing complex waveguide configurations.

His publication record spans over 30 years with 40 scientific papers, including 7 indexed in Scopus. His research shows consistent evolution from traditional waveguide analysis to more complex fractal electromagnetic structures in recent years.
