Igor Filatotchev

Professor Igor Filatotchev is a Professor of Corporate Governance and Strategy at King’s Business School, King’s College London. He previously held academic positions at Cass Business School, Nottingham University Business School, and others. His research focuses on corporate governance effects on internationalization strategies, entrepreneurship, and strategic decision-making. He has published extensively in top journals like the Academy of Management Journal and Strategic Management Journal.

His research explores digital transformation’s impact on governance, open-source governance models, and entrepreneurial firm governance. He has secured grants from the ESRC, UK Department of Trade and Industry, and the European Commission. Recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of International Business and a Fellow of the British Academy of Management, he currently serves as Senior Editor of the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Business and Management.
