Igor Chitikov is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of South Florida, College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Moscow State University/Voronezh State University (1985) and has extensive teaching experience in Graph Theory, Geometry, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. His research focuses on functional analysis, group theory, and mathematical physics, particularly Poisson transformations in hyperbolic spaces.
His educational background includes:

- M.S. in Education (Tambov State Pedagogical Institute)
- B.S. in Physics (Tambov State Pedagogical Institute)
Dr. Chitikov has presented at numerous international mathematics conferences including the International Symposium on Group Theory and Sobolev Schools on Operator Theory. Beyond academia, he serves as an Archpriest at St. Andrews Russian Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
