Ignazio Graziosi is an Assistant Outreach Professor at the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of Georgia. His work focuses on tree health, urban/community forest management, and mitigating the impacts of invasive insects and microorganisms. He holds a PhD in Entomology from the University of Kentucky (2015) and dual BS/MS degrees in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from the University of Florence, Italy (2005).
His research integrates field biology, data analysis, and education/outreach to develop pest management tools and engage stakeholders. Key areas include surveillance protocols for quarantine pests, biological control strategies, and agroforestry systems in Africa and Southeast Asia. He has worked globally with NGOs, governments, and private entities on projects ranging from chestnut gall wasp control to cassava pest management.

Advocacy & Labs: Leads the Tree Health Care and Community Forestry Lab. His work emphasizes public education, partnership-building, and capacity development. He has coordinated international efforts to address emerging threats to agroforestry trees and urban forests.
