Ignacio Gomez Marroquin

Ignacio Gomez Marroquin is an Associate Professor at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. He holds a Psychology degree and a PhD in Leisure and Human Potential from the same institution. His academic roles include lecturing in the BA in Psychology and Master’s programs in Gerontology and Social Psychology Intervention. He specializes in teaching subjects related to Aid Relationship and Humanist Psychotherapies. Since 2017, he has directed the Master in Integrative Relational Psychotherapy and joined the University Counseling Service team in 2021. He is an accredited private university lecturer in social sciences, law, and economics.

His research focuses on social participation, active aging of the elderly, full mental health, and the helping relationship. He is affiliated with the Clinical Evaluation and Health team, contributing to interdisciplinary efforts in clinical and psychological practice.
