Ignacio Angulo Martinez

Ignacio Angulo Martinez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information, Electronic and Communication Technologies in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto. He has been affiliated with the university since 2002 and currently serves as Director of his department. His research focuses on embedded systems, remote control, remote maintenance, and intelligent transportation systems. He earned a PhD in Computer Science and Telecommunications in 2015, achieving cum laude recognition for his thesis.

He has participated in over 25 research projects and collaborated on numerous scientific articles and books in embedded systems design. Awards include cum laude recognition for his doctoral thesis. He also co-founded Ingeniería de Microsistemas Programados SL in 1998 and contributes to publicly funded and contracted research projects at the Deusto Foundation Institute of Technology.
