Iftekhar Khan

Dr. Iftekhar Khan is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering at RMIT University, specializing in engineering education and applied research focused on renewable energy systems, thermal management, and climate change adaptation. He holds a PhD and MSc from RMIT, with expertise in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods. His research spans cooling system design, laser beam steering, and AI-driven educational tools to support students with learning challenges. He has received multiple teaching excellence awards, including the RMIT Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Innovation – Teacher of the Year (2024).
