Ida Storberget is an Assistant Professor at the University of Inland Norway, affiliated with the Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy and the Department of Mathematics, Science and Physical Education. Her primary role involves teaching physical education and movement subjects in teacher training programs at Campus Hamar. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports and a master’s in public health science, focusing on lifestyle habit changes.
Ida is a member of research groups Future-Oriented Education in Science and Physical Education (FUNK) and Teaching and Learning in Physical Education (TLPE). Her teaching spans physical education didactics for upper secondary school (PPU), primary school teacher education, and kindergarten programs, emphasizing health, play, and movement. Research interests include mental health development through physical education, as seen in her 2013 study on adolescents' experiences.
