Ida L. Østerås is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology at Winthrop University's College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University and specializes in research at the intersection of anti-immigrant harm/violence and digital extremism/terrorism.
