Ida Kåhlin is a Senior Lecturer at Linköping University’s Department of Social and Welfare Studies (ISV), where she has taught since 2006. Her work bridges occupational therapy education, research on aging with intellectual disabilities, and advocacy as Chair of the Swedish Association of Occupational Therapists and delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.

Kåhlin’s research focuses on participation and aging among individuals with intellectual disabilities in group housing.
