Ian T.W. Flynn

Ian T.W. Flynn is a Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Department of Geology and Environmental Science. He earned dual B.S. degrees in Geoscience and Marine Science from Rider University (2017) and a Ph.D. in Geology and Environmental Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2022).

• Research focus: Satellite remote sensing, modeling, and comparative planetology of volcanic processes on Earth, Mars, Venus, and icy moons
• Key collaborations: NASA missions, Venus Exploration and Analysis Group (VEXAG), AVENGERS project
