Ian J Duncan

Ian J Duncan is a Research Scientist at the Bureau of Economic Geology within the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin. His work bridges scientific, environmental, and policy aspects of energy production, with a focus on unconventional natural gas, carbon capture/storage, and water-energy interdependencies.

His research emphasizes risk analysis, legal/regulatory frameworks for fracking and CO2-EOR, and decision-making processes in energy policy.
