Research Interests focus on the interplay between the skin microbiome, epithelial immunity, and allergic diseases. Current work includes:
- Topical probiotic therapy for eczema using Roseomonas mucosa
- Mechanisms of Staphylococcus aureus susceptibility
- Microbiome dynamics in tissue repair and wound healing
- Dietary and environmental factors shaping host-microbe interactions
Publication Trends (5 most recent) show a consistent focus on microbiome-based therapies for skin diseases, particularly eczema, with parallel exploration of cytokine signaling pathways and host-microbe interactions in inflammatory skin conditions.
Scientific Recognition:
- Lasker Clinical Research Scholars Program
- Distinguished Scholars Program
Clinical Studies include trials on microbiome transplantation therapy for atopic dermatitis (NCT03018275) and investigations into Staphylococcus aureus immunity (NCT02262819).
