Hyungju Edmond Cha

Dr. Hyungju Edmond Cha is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Fred Hale School of Business, East Texas Baptist University. He earned his doctoral degree from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) and has taught economics at institutions in New York City, New Jersey, and Texas since 2012. At ETBU, he has served as Chairperson of Accounting and Hospitality Management and Tourism Administration.

• Research focuses on U.S. Monetary Policy, income inequality, and the Chinese economy.
• Co-Champion of the Academic Council of Business School and Program (ACBSP).

His work explores financial development effects and modeling political decision-making for monetary policy. He previously held teaching roles in New York and New Jersey.
