Hyun Park is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Tulane University's Department of Economics, housed within the School of Liberal Arts. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Kansas (2022).
His research focuses on macroeconomic modeling, particularly analyzing the Credit-card-augmented Divisia monetary aggregate (Credit-Divisia). This work evaluates how incorporating credit transactions improves liquidity tracking and economic forecasting compared to traditional Fed-published aggregates. Methodologically, he employs VAR models and DSGE frameworks to assess monetary policy implications.
