Prof. Dr. Hylke Dijkstra is a Full Professor of International Security and Cooperation at Maastricht University, Netherlands. He specializes in global governance, multilateralism, and international organizations, focusing on how geopolitical shifts impact international cooperation. He leads the ENSURED project (Horizon Europe) exploring EU-driven global governance reforms and chairs the Research Programme 'Europe: Society, Politics and Global Order'.
Education: PhD (cum laude) in Political Science (Maastricht University), MPhil in Contemporary European Studies (University of Cambridge), and dual BSc/BA in International Economics and European Studies (Maastricht University).
