Hyeokjin Kwon serves as a Research Fellow at the Fetal-Neonatal Neuroimaging & Developmental Science Center (FNNDSC) within Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, focusing on computational neuroimaging applications for developmental disorders.
He earned his PhD in Electronic Engineering from Hanyang University, South Korea, in August 2024, with doctoral research centered on graph neural networks for multimodal brain imaging analysis.
His expertise spans Graph Neural Networks, Brain Imaging, and Medical Image Analysis, specializing in sulcal pattern graph modeling from structural MRI data to detect abnormalities in congenital heart disease. Current work develops deep normative models through unsupervised learning for broader neurological disorder applications, emphasizing translational computational approaches to fetal-neonatal neurodevelopment.
He operates within the FNNDSC research ecosystem under Dr. Kiho Im's mentorship, contributing to advanced neuroimaging methodology development.
