Hye Seung (Grace) Lee is Associate Professor of Accounting and Taxation at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business, holding the Edward M. Stroz and Sally Spooner Endowed Chair in Accounting. She joined Fordham in 2015 and researches corporate governance, ESG performance, and disclosure practices.
Her work examines how ownership structures influence ESG outcomes, consumer responses to corporate reputation events, and policy impacts on financial decisions. Recent studies analyze bondholder effects on sustainability metrics, consumer reactions to ESG news, and implications of tax legislation on corporate buybacks.
Lee's research employs empirical methods to investigate financial reporting quality, executive compensation structures, and valuation effects in family-controlled firms.
