Hwan Kim

Hwan Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Stony Brook University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 2011 and leads research focused on host-vector-pathogen interactions, particularly tick-borne rickettsial organisms. His work emphasizes molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis, immune evasion, and tick transmission.
