HwaJung Choi, PhD, is a Research Associate Professor at the University of Michigan, with joint appointments in the Department of Internal Medicine (School of Medicine) and the Department of Health Management and Policy (School of Public Health). She is also a Faculty Associate at the Institute for Social Research, specializing in family demography and health economics.

Her research centers on family and community contextual factors affecting health and care use among older adults with cognitive/physical limitations, including cross-national disability trends.
