معرفی
Hung-Hsu Chou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with The Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on machine learning, optimization, and signal processing, with current emphasis on implicit bias/regularization, neural tangent kernel, edge of stability, conformal prediction, and adversarial attacks.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics, University of California Los Angeles (Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics)
- B.S. in Physics, University of California Santa Barbara (College of Creative Studies)
Research Interests: Chou's work bridges theoretical foundations of machine learning and applied mathematics. He explores topics such as neural tangent kernels, optimization dynamics in deep learning, and robustness in AI systems through adversarial attacks and conformal prediction frameworks. His contributions aim to enhance model interpretability and reliability in real-world applications.
