Dr. Humaira Khan is a Lecturer in Health Promotion and Public Health, MSc Chiropractic Course Lead, and Research Ethics Lead at the School of Chiropractic, Health Sciences University. She holds a BSc in Psychology from London and has a doctoral qualification (PhD implied by title). Her career spans academic roles in psychology, health education, and healthcare policy, with expertise in addiction, maternal health, and innovative educational methods.

Research Interests: Dr. Khan focuses on health promotion, addiction’s impact on pregnant women, and the use of simulators/gamification in healthcare education. Current projects include smoking cessation interventions for pregnant women via collaborations with NHS trusts and universities like Bournemouth and Southampton.
