Hulya Seferoglu is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), College of Engineering. Her work focuses on networking, edge computing, machine learning, and secure private systems. She has received multiple honors, including the 2023 College of Engineering Advising Award and the 2020 NSF CAREER Award.

Her research explores edge computing, machine learning integration in edge networks, coded computation, and privacy-preserving protocols. Recent publications highlight decentralized learning, resilient inference, and adaptive algorithms for edge systems.
