Professor Hulusi BOZKURT serves as Dean of Studies and Head of the Mechanical Engineering program at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim (DHBW Mannheim) since 2013, where he holds a full professorship in Mechanical Engineering. Previously, he worked as Senior Manager in the Engineering Department at ELB-SCHLIFF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH (2009-2013) and as Head of Technology Machines Department (2008-2009). He completed his doctorate at the Technical University of Darmstadt with research on solid-lubricated rolling bearings.
His research interests focus on methodical product development and solid-lubricated rolling bearings, with significant contributions to engineering education methodology, tribology, and mechanical design. Professor BOZKURT teaches courses in design theory, CAD, and product development methods at both bachelor's and master's levels, while also serving as an external lecturer at the Turkish-German University in Istanbul.
