Huijia (Rachel) Lin is a Professor at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington, holding the Paul G. Allen Development Professorship. Her expertise lies in cryptography and its intersections with theoretical computer science and security. She actively contributes to foundational research in program obfuscation, functional encryption, and lattice-based cryptography.
- Research Focus: Cryptography, secure multiparty computation, non-malleability, concurrent security, functional encryption, attribute-based encryption, program obfuscation, lattice-based cryptography.
- Academic Leadership: Co-chair of TCC 2025, member of the TCC Steering Committee (2018–present), and associate editor for JACM.
