Hui Shao is an Associate Professor at Emory University's Hubert Department of Global Health with a joint appointment in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine (School of Medicine). He holds an MD in endocrinology from Shandong University and a PhD in health economics and policy from Tulane University. Dr. Shao's research focuses on AI-driven precision medicine and public health strategies for diabetes and multimorbidity, leveraging machine learning and microsimulation modeling. His work integrates clinical trial and real-world data (e.g., EHRs, claims) to improve healthcare decision-making.
