Prof. Hui Fang is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware's College of Engineering. Her research focuses on overcoming information overload through advancements in text information management, including search engine technology, text mining, and bioinformatics. She has pioneered task-aware information retrieval frameworks and collaborates with domain experts in journalism and biology.
Education: PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
