Hugues Bermond serves as Professor of Accessories Design and Co-Director of the Master of Arts’ Accessory Design Pathway at the French Institute of Fashion (IFM), leveraging over two decades of industry experience from premier luxury fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Céline, Maison Martin Margiela, Jil Sander, Alaïa, Hermès, Gucci, and Alexander McQueen.

His academic focus centers on the intersection of technical craftsmanship and avant-garde design in luxury accessories, with specialized expertise in leather goods innovation, material science application, and structural prototyping. Bermond's pedagogical approach integrates industry-standard creative processes with sustainable design methodologies, emphasizing the transformation of conceptual ideas into commercially viable luxury products through iterative development cycles.
