Hugues BOUTHINON-DUMAS

Hugues Bouthinon-Dumas is an Associate Professor at ESSEC Business School, specializing in Law, Political Science & Society. He serves as the Head of the Public Affairs program and Co-head of the Business Law and Environment department. His career includes visiting scholar roles at institutions like the Onati International Institute for the Sociology of Law, Université de Montréal, and McGill University. He holds a PhD in Private Law from Paris Dauphine University and an HDR (Accreditation to Supervise Research) from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Education includes advanced degrees from Sorbonne Université, École Normale Supérieure, and Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas. His research focuses on legal strategies in business, financial regulation, compliance, and sustainability.
