Hugh Ramsden serves as a Research Fellow within the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education at Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in advanced nanomaterials research. His work is centered at the intersection of physics and materials engineering, focusing on experimental characterization techniques at atomic scales.
Dr. Ramsden's core research interests include Nanomaterials, 2D Materials, and Nanoscale Characterisation, with emphasis on structural and electronic properties of atomically thin systems. He actively contributes to the Advanced Nanomaterials & Devices research group, where his work bridges fundamental physics with practical applications in next-generation semiconductor and optoelectronic technologies.
