Hua Wang is a Professor at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, affiliated with the Institute for Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities (ISILC) and the Oceania Cyber Security Centre (OCSC). His research spans machine learning, data analysis, cyber security, and privacy-preserving technologies, with applications in healthcare, IoT, and social media analytics.

Research focuses on privacy-preserving data publishing, deep learning for cyber security, graph neural networks for IoT, and EEG-based neurological disorder detection. His work integrates federated learning and transformer models for secure, efficient data processing.
