Hristo Svilenov

Prof. Hristo Svilenov is a Professor of Biopharmaceutical Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM School of Life Sciences), appointed in September 2024. He previously held a professorship at the University of Gent (Belgium) and completed a postdoc at TUM (2020-2021). His research focuses on recombinant therapeutic proteins, particularly in mammalian cell cultures, using orthogonal analytical methods to advance drug development.
