Hristina Spasevska is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEIT), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She leads the Radiation Physics Laboratory (RAD-LAB) and has held key administrative roles including Vice-Rector for Education (2020-2023) and Vice-Dean for Teaching (2012-2016). Her expertise spans renewable energy, photovoltaics, radiation physics, and food safety through radiation technologies.
- Educational Background: PhD in Physics (2002), Master’s in Physics (1997), and Undergraduate in Applied Physics (1990), all from the University of Skopje.
- Professional Roles: President of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia, Chair of the Metrology Council, and National Representative at the European Innovation Council.
Her research focuses on renewable energy systems, nanomaterials for photovoltaics, and food irradiation detection. She has authored over 80 papers and 10 textbooks, including works on energy efficiency and solar technologies. Notable awards include the 2019 "13 November" Award and the 2022 Lions Clubs International Leadership Medal.
Spasevska mentors PhD students and advises on national and international projects, including Horizon 2020 and EU-funded initiatives. Her contributions to education include developing curricula in energy, BIM adoption, and digital skills for sustainable construction.
