Howard Rambsy II

Howard Rambsy II is a researcher at the Department of English Language and Literature within the College of Arts and Sciences at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). His work intersects African American literature, digital humanities, and hip-hop studies, with a strong focus on Afrofuturism, Black cultural production, and urban identity. He coordinates the ESLARP History Preservation & Digitization Project and has received grants like the 2014-15 Meridian Award for his research.

Dr. Rambsy's scholarly output explores the intersections of African American poetry, hip-hop, and technology. His projects often examine how Black artists engage with urban spaces and reimagine cultural narratives through digital and multimedia formats.
