Howard Kaufold

Howard Kaufold is Vice Dean of the MBA Program and Adjunct Professor of Finance at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Previously, he served as Deputy Vice Dean of the MBA Program for Executives and Associate Director of Wharton’s full-time MBA program.

Dr. Kaufold's research focuses on corporate finance and financial risk management, including topics such as valuing leveraged buyouts, hedging interest and exchange rate risks, and analyzing floating rate note risks. His work bridges theoretical economics with practical financial applications.

He has twice received the Wharton Anvil Award for Distinguished Teaching and has taught Corporate Finance in the MBA core curriculum since 1983. Additionally, he has delivered executive education programs for global corporations like DuPont, General Electric, Merck, and Nomura.
