Hossein Rouhani is a Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alberta, serving as Director of Mechatronics Engineering and holding the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital - University of Alberta Engineering Research Chair in Neurorehabilitation.

His work bridges engineering mechanics with clinical applications in rehabilitation and sports science.
