Prof. Horst-Michael Groß is a full-time Professor at Technische Universität Ilmenau, leading the Neuroinformatics and Cognitive Robotics Lab within the Faculty of Computer Science and Automation. His roles include Chair of the lab since 1993, former Dean (2005–2010), and Vice Dean (1998–1997). He coordinates major research initiatives, including Carl-Zeiss Foundation projects on smart manufacturing and EU-funded robotics in industrial scenarios.
