Hooman Oroojeni

Hooman Oroojeni is a Senior Lecturer in Data Science at the University of Greenwich's School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (AI) from Goldsmiths, University of London, complemented by an MSc in Computer Networking and BSc in Software Engineering.

His research integrates deep learning with evolutionary methods, including neuroevolution and dispersive flies optimisation. Applications span healthcare (Parkinson's detection, ICU monitoring) and high-dimensional data analysis using tensor decomposition techniques.

Recent publications (2018-2022) demonstrate cross-disciplinary approaches combining neural networks, swarm intelligence, and medical informatics.
