Hongqiu Chen

Hongqiu Chen is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis, where he has been since 2000, advancing to full professor in 2018. His research focuses on partial differential equations and fluid mechanics, particularly nonlinear dispersive wave phenomena. He has held visiting positions at institutions including Université Bordeaux 1, Tohoku University, and National Taiwan University, and has organized significant conferences like the Differential Equations Weekend.
