Dr. Yang’s work bridges statistical theory and practical biomedical challenges, with emphasis on HIV, influenza, and pediatric infectious diseases. Recent studies include analyzing CD4 T cell immune responses to influenza vaccination, evaluating drug efficacy in HIV/TB co-infection, and modeling pharmacokinetics in pediatric populations. Her methodological contributions include advancing statistical techniques for ELISA/ELISPOT assays and longitudinal data analysis.
Publications highlight her expertise in applying mixed-effect models to clinical trials and developing novel statistical approaches for assay data. Collaborations span virology, oncology, and global health, reflecting her interdisciplinary impact.
