Hongmei Sun

Dr Hongmei Sun is a Lecturer in Operations Management at the Sheffield University Management School (University of Sheffield). She holds a PhD in Business Administration from Ivey Business School (Western University, Canada) with specialization in Management Science. Previously, she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow and instructor at York University, Canada, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her research focuses on applying analytical models and data-driven approaches to real-world supply chain challenges in pharmaceuticals, circular economy, and blockchain technologies. Teaching specialties include supply chain coordination, reverse logistics, and decision analysis using immersive methods like SAP ERP workshops and VR simulations.
